Mission (Form 1023-EZ)
To provide free service of equal opportunity housing for Minorities, Women, and Children who were otherwise financially incapable of obtaining such services, qualified for exemption under section 501(c)(3) as a charitable organization.
Public-charity classification
The IRS classifies the organization as a public charity under Internal Revenue Code section 509(a)(2) — an organization that normally receives more than one-third of its support from contributions, fees, and gross receipts related to exempt purposes, and not more than one-third from gross investment income and unrelated business income.
Logo tagline
The official seal reads HOUSING. EQUITY. HOPE. That is brand language on the organization’s logo, not a separate IRS vision statement.
