The Form 1023-EZ purpose is free equal-opportunity housing service for people who cannot otherwise pay for that help. Requests are handled as a small charity’s capacity allows. We do not guarantee a unit.

Work described here is the exempt purpose on file with the IRS. EQUAL RENTAL CHARITY INC is a Form 990-N filer and does not operate a rental housing portfolio.
Minorities, women, and children
The same IRS application names minorities, women, and children who were financially incapable of obtaining these services as the intended beneficiaries.
A small public charity
FY2022 Form 990-EZ reported $57 of revenue. Tax year 2024 Form 990-N reported gross receipts not greater than $50,000. Program activity matches that size.
